I give my mother a mug 3 times a year. One for her birthday, one for mothers day, and the last for christmas. Oh and I got her an extra one this year from Disneyland! Everytime I give them to her, she acts all surprised and happy. She really does. And I don’t know if she’s serious or if she is just really good at faking it.

I finally gave a hint to my mother that I wanted to be a Marine. She said it wouldn’t be a good idea since I’m a girl. And you know what? Fuck her. I am so sick of her stupid excuses. I want to join even more now. At least I’ll be away from her.

A few years ago I went back to my elementary school and talked to my kindergarten teacher. She asked me what I wanted to do when I grew up and I told her I wasn’t sure. My dad said,”She still wants to be a vet, she’s always wanted to be a vet.” right then and there i knew I didn’t want that. I thought about it from time to time. And a few days ago I planned what I wanted. And I absolutely know that I want to join the Marines. I know that I want to see the world. And I know I want to write. I just need a little reasurance to get there. I need someone else to approve, and more than that. I need to find love.
